Hier wurde oft zugunsten der Illustrationen auf klare Lesbarkeit verzichtet. Das Monster Manual von WotC hat es ja auch geschafft. Wie gesagt, beides Nitpicks. Bin trotzdem sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf. There's a good variety of monsters here. A complement to the previous Tome of Beasts. I always find though that there are a few really interesting creatures in here, but the rest are very specific and I know I will probably not use.
The artwork for me is hit and miss. Some of it is accurate and idea provoking. Others don't appear as their description. There are some disappointments as well. But overall, there are more than enough creatures here that you can use right out of the book, and more than enough to give your players frights and surprises.

I use these monsters against players who may have thumbed through the monster manual and need surprising. The package was left in the rain beside my home until I got home from work even though there is a front deck with a cover over it. The book was slightly damp when I got it but the ink held up to the water that soaked into the back of the book.

A great follow up to Tome of Beasts. It's a big book, double the size of the monster manual. I am a dungeon master with several experienced players at my table. I recently picked up their previous work Tome of beasts and was greatly impressed by the inspiration from it.
